EDITORIAL STYLED SHOOT AT VILLA PIZZO
Feathers, a symbol of both lightness and harmony, were the inspiration for this intimate Lake Como wedding shoot.
Recently published on Once Wed, this intimate wedding styled shoot at Villa Pizzo on the shore of Lake Como was a collaboration with some of the most talented Italian Wedding Professional such as weddings & events planners Bianco Bouquet and bridal dress designer Antonio Riva.
Carefully designed details included Barbara Botta’s flowers compositions made of greenery, eucalyptus, white lilies and a touch of blush of roses, stationery that recalls the ceiling frescos of the villa, the renaissance style of the mise en place, the wedding cake based on leaves and feathers shapes.

The Location
Situated halfway between Moltrasio and Cernobbio, Villa Pizzo is one of the oldest manor houses on Lake Como. The Villa’s simple and geometric architecture, with its sober decors and gardens of varied shapes, colours and styles, have made Pizzo a unique abode on Lake Como and an ideal location for stylish Destination Weddings in Italy.
Renaissance Inspiration
The Design
This Wedding Styled Shoot on Lake Como was carefully designed to reference the Renaissance style of Villa Pizzo. The stationery recalled the frescos theme painted on the villa ceiling, the mise en place was rich but delicate in pastel tones and gold accents and the wedding cake design based on leaves and feathers shapes.
