An exclusive Tuscan borgo experience
BORGO SAN FELICE WEDDING
Borgo San Felice, located in the southern area of the Chianti region, resembles a traditional Tuscan village while offering the comfort and service of a five-star hotel.
Surrounded by vineyards, the estate combines historic stone buildings, elegant accommodation, a spa and a Michelin-starred restaurant. This unique setting makes Borgo San Felice one of the most distinctive venues for destination weddings in Tuscany. For M&C’s celebration, the entire wedding weekend unfolded across the borgo, beautifully planned by the team at Blanc Weddings.
Welcome Party at Poggio Rosso
Welcome parties are often an important moment in destination weddings, allowing guests travelling from different parts of the world to gather and settle into the atmosphere of the celebration. M&C opened the wedding weekend with an aperitif and pizza party at Poggio Rosso, Borgo San Felice’s Michelin-starred restaurant. Guests enjoyed a relaxed evening featuring a pizza station, salad bar and dishes inspired by Chef Juan Quintero’s Latin-influenced Italian cuisine. The evening set the tone for the celebrations to follow, bringing everyone together in the courtyard of the borgo before the wedding day itself.

The Wedding Day
With its many villas and suites, Borgo San Felice offers several beautiful spaces for the bridal party to get ready before the ceremony. This layout allows both sides of the wedding party to prepare comfortably in separate areas, with plenty of opportunities for photographs both indoors and around the borgo, while ensuring the bride and groom do not see each other before the ceremony begins.

The Symbolic Ceremony
The symbolic ceremony took place in one of the courtyards of Borgo San Felice. The floral design by Rebel Rebel created a beautiful green arch framed by flowers on both sides, while natural shade was provided by the borgo’s grapevines.
After the ceremony, guests were welcomed with a champagne reception in the gardens while M&C took family and bridal party photographs in the main square of the borgo, just in front of the church.
Dinner under a white marquee
Even in Tuscany, the weather can be unpredictable, and for larger wedding celebrations a marquee offers both flexibility and comfort.
For this reception, a beautifully styled tent by Tentickle was set up to host the dinner and evening celebrations. The structure was spacious enough to accommodate a large stage for the UK band Soul Motion, with lighting and audio by GB Audio and floral arrangements again by Rebel Rebel.
Dance, dance, dance
The highlight of the evening was the lively after-party. The band Soul Motion, flown in from the Midlands in the UK, had guests on the dance floor from the very first song. After the couple’s first dance — followed by the joyful father-of-the-bride dance — the celebration continued late into the night with music, laughter and a packed dance floor.
