A Romantic Vacation Photoshoot in Florence

Photographing Allyson and Cortlen during their photoshoot in Florence began early in the morning, when the city was still quiet and the streets around Piazza Duomo were almost empty.

Meeting at sunrise allowed us to walk through the historic centre while the soft morning light illuminated the architecture and the atmosphere felt calm and unhurried. Along the way we captured a mix of relaxed portraits and natural moments as the couple explored the city together.

Allyson and Cortlen wanted photographs that would remind them of their time travelling through Tuscany. Their energy and connection came naturally in front of the camera, allowing the session to focus as much on their personalities as on the setting of Florence itself.

One of the simplest ways to approach a vacation photoshoot is to treat it as part of the experience of being in the city: enjoying the walk, the conversation and the atmosphere, while allowing the photographs to unfold naturally along the way.
