The Story of a Secret Surprise Proposal Photoshoot

Imagine driving through the Tuscan countryside along one of those quiet white roads that wind through vineyards and rolling hills. That’s how the afternoon began: on the way to their suite at COMO Castello del Nero, in the heart of Chianti.

At one point Drew pulled over, suggesting a quick stop in the vineyards to take a photo with the castle in the background. What seemed like a simple moment during their road trip quickly turned into something else entirely.

Instead of reaching for his phone, Drew took out an engagement ring and proposed to his partner there, surrounded by the Chianti hills.

The surprise didn’t end there. The proposal had been carefully planned so the moment could be captured discreetly on camera, allowing them to relive it long after the trip was over. Planning a surprise proposal in Tuscany always involves choosing the right place and timing.

Afterwards, we continued with an engagement photoshoot in the vineyards before celebrating with a beautiful chic-nic arranged by Glam Events in Tuscany, with refreshments prepared by the chef of the Michelin-starred restaurant at Castello del Nero.

Sometimes a simple stop along the road becomes the beginning of a new chapter.
