This marriage proposal was planned around two priorities: finding an iconic Tuscan landscape and ensuring the moment felt private despite taking place in a public setting.

The early morning timing helped make the proposal feel more private. The cypress-lined road is a public place, but at that hour there were fewer people around, which allowed the moment to happen without interruption and with a better sense of privacy. After the proposal, the engagement session focused on the landscape of Val d’Orcia: rolling hills, open fields, countryside views and the town of Pienza. Choosing a morning proposal also gave them the rest of the day to enjoy the valley together, turning the proposal into the beginning of a full day of celebration.
