When Jessica sent me a VERY detailed shotlist of everything she wanted us captured during her wedding I knew immediately she was a pro - an art director, it turned out. It wasn't the number of shots listed that set her apart from your normal bride requests... it was the details: the way she described how the shots should portray the emotions, the atmosphere, the settings. A wedding shot list to treasure! And indeed the details were a joy, to look at and to photograph, all throughout this stunning destination wedding! The civil ceremony took place in the ancient town of Certaldo Alto in Tuscany, followed by an aperitif and then dinner in the Castello di Bibbione, on Florence's doorstep. This was a very stylish wedding with touches of colour and fun (like the Fiat 500's baby blue car that the bride and groom drove away from the wedding ceremony with) on an otherwise pastel palette that complemented the castle settings. All the bridesmaids wore blush-pink dresses and the groomsmen grey suits. A detail that set this wedding apart? The first look at Certaldo Alto! It is not easy for destination weddings with many guests to find the right time and place to enjoy a private first look between the bride and groom... but this wonderful couple did! It was a spectacular location, on a terrace in the middle of this ancient stone town, that was perfect to capture the moment and the emotion. We hope you enjoy these photographs as much as we enjoyed being part of this amazing wedding in Tuscany!
