Marriage proposal photographer in Florence - San Miniato, Piazzale Michelangelo, Palazzo VecchioMarriage proposal photographer in Florence - San Miniato, Piazzale Michelangelo, Palazzo Vecchio
When Nick got in touch to tell me he wanted me to photograph his surprise marriage proposal to his sweetheart, we devise a plan. We decided to let her know that he had booked an Italian photographer to take some portraits of them wondering trough the city, and we met at san Miniato church, just above Piazzale Michelangelo. We arrived in the middle of a spring storm: heavy rain, thunders and hailstone were quickly filling the sky above Florence. We waited under the cover of a small roof of jasmine, and as soon as the rain cleared we moved towards the middle of the terrace, now totally empty of people and with a beautiful dramatic sky opening in front of us. I took some photographs, and then asked Nick's girlfriend to look at the view few steps ahead of Nick, before turning slowly towards him... she did! And of course she said yes! After the proposal, we continued our photoshoot walking down the river and ending in Palazzo Vecchio square. If you are planning a surprise proposal in Florence and would like some memorable photographs get in touch to know how I can help you. Shot for Flytographer
